Established in 2016, Playa Music Lessons has proudly held the title of the best music school in the area for six consecutive years. One of our proudest achievements is the success of our students in prestigious examinations such as the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) and Certificate of Merit (CM). Many of our students not only participate but excel in these examinations, showcasing their dedication and musical prowess on a national level.

In addition to academic achievements, we offer numerous performance opportunities to our students. Our recitals, held four times a year, provide a platform for students to showcase their progress and talents in front of a supportive audience. These recitals take place in two locations: Playa Del Rey and Tarzana, as well as online via Zoom, ensuring accessibility for all.

Furthermore, we host an annual International Piano Festival, where students have the opportunity to participate in masterclasses, workshops, and performances led by renowned musicians from around the world. This festival not only enriches our students’ musical experiences but also fosters a sense of community and collaboration among aspiring musicians.

Behind the scenes, our commitment to excellence is driven by our founder and owner, Dr. Azadeh Raoufi, a certified adjudicator for both RCM and CM. With Dr. Azi’s expertise and guidance, we ensure that every student receives the highest quality instruction and support on their musical journey.
